In reading I have been doing some handwriting ( tell me how good it is in the comments) I'm trying to get better and I think I've improved.

Maths

In maths I have been doing LPG 12 because I have been doing fractions like multiplying and dividing my fractions here's one 1/2 x 3/4 = 3/8.

In writing I have been practicing LPG 1 by doing some planning for my writing.

Ms Hacket (who is our new teacher) did some art with us about the Legend of Lake Ora this is my finished work. I just haven't put my writing on.

Writing

This week I finished my story Cane it was really fun to write soon I'll also have a second story called Cane the Underworld. In this story I used LPG " 21 " because I wrote this story in a different way.

Anyway this is the finished Cane

Cane

Splish splosh. Logan ran into the garage. Logan is at work while it's raining and he has the feeling something odd is going on. “You need to work harder to get that Mazda working,” yelled out Logan's manager Josh Sower. Later at Logan's lunch break he went shopping, when he turned into the vegetable section he saw an old lady that seemed to be talking to her cane. He edged closer and asked “ is everything ok mam”? The old woman quickly hid her cane but not fast enough for Logan to see a small, beady, orange eye at the end of the cane. “ ah yes young man just trying to remember if I needed kumara or not, by the way the names Patty what is yours”, said the old woman with a bit of an anxious look. “ Logan”, Logan replied. When Logan got back to the mechanic shed he told Josh all about the old woman and the cane with an eye. “ Nothing to worry about, you're probably just hallucinating from working to hard, how about you just take a day off ”, said Josh. Logan obeyed but thought that it wasn't right because Josh always said you can't work too hard. The next day Logan decided to ask his manager a few questions like why was he acting so strange and why did that old woman's cane have an eye. The answers were “ oh it's just I'm feeling a little under the weather and I don't know anything about patty”, later at my coffee break I realised something how did he know the old woman's name. Logan ran to Josh's house even though it was 8:20pm. He was just about to go in Josh's gate when he saw a flash of bright green light and a scream before complete silence. Logan went inside even though he was a bit startled but the scream and green light he was hoping that it was just a green flashlight his wife had dropped because she saw a rat, Rose was terrified of rats. Logan went into the kitchen and saw a knife on the chopping board it had something red on it Logan didn't know if it was blood or just the beetroot they had in a salad. Logan slowly walked up the stairs to Josh's bedroom just to be sure he just peered through a gap between the door and the wall.

Logan was terrified at what he saw Patty was standing there in the room with what seemed to be a wand and a giant ugly worm like creature crawling out of her cane feeding on the blood of the now dead Josh Sower. Logan ran out of the house and back to his bed where he lay saying “ it's all a dream, it's all a dream,” over and over.

Logan woke up at 7:15 in the morning he went to his calendar and looked at the date it was 16/07/2017. Logan had nothing to do now that his boss was dead, at lunch time someone rang him, his phone said that the caller was unknown. “ Hello Logan I know what you saw”, Logan dropped the phone and fled. He went to his old work but suddenly the petrel tank exploded, and a voice started echoing through his head saying “ I know.” Logan was running around in circles until his eyes opened he was in his bed it was the start of the day 16/07/2017. Logan peeled himself out of his sweat drenched bed and went to the phone there was a voice mail left on it he listened it said “ hi Logan Patty here and I know what you saw and because of that you’re next”.

Logan nearly wet himself. He decided to head to his auntie Lucy’s house, his antie was nice anyway she had a black and white GSP named Ash,a GSP is a type of dog. When Logan got to his auntie’s house he knocked on the door, no answer he tried again, no answer he decided to take a look inside just in case the back door was wide open Logan walked in. “Get out”! Said a wheezy voice coming from the living room, “ it's me Logan, antie”, an old woman in a maroon red cloak came running out with a shotgun “ Logan it said is it really you”, said Lucy they went and sat down for a talk and Logan asked why Lucy was acting weird. Lucy’s story was that a few days ago she went to a store to buy a new cane with her friend Patty and the cane that Patty picked had an eye and it started to possess her and for days Lucy had been running from creatures with big orange eyes, she said most of them were giant worm looking monstrositys. That night Logan went to bed and had horrible nightmares of giant worm like creatures with big orange eyes and blood soaked fangs feeding off his aunties flesh. The next morning he woke up to a blood curdling scream he ran out and saw the same vision he had in his dream. Meanwhile back in the city Patty had taken over and had managed to create soul sucking creatures with dark cloaks that can feed on fear. Logan fled from the house he grabbed Ash and ran for his car but there were tiny little glowing slugs infesting it so he kept on running. Soon he realised that it was a good idea not to hop in the car because there was a massive explosion and car parts went flying. The End

On Thursday I did winter sports the sports you can do are Netball,Hockey,Turbotuch,Tabletennis and Basketball. I did basketball my team was Hurupaki yellow we won all our games throughout our five games I scoured four baskets it was really fun I enjoyed it.

I did a maths actuation it was 888x88 my answer was 78,544 but the real answer was 78,144
